2. Replacing the Wear Items

When we perform a true A/C overhaul, we don't just replace the broken part; we protect the whole system. This means checking and replacing:

  • The A/C Compressor and Clutch Assembly (ensuring smooth, strong engagement without slipping or grinding).

  • The Orifice Tube / Expansion Valve to guarantee precise refrigerant metering.

  • The Accumulator/Drier to ensure no destructive moisture remains in the loop.

3. Precision Charging

Diesel A/C systems have exact refrigerant weight specifications. We charge by weight, not guesswork, ensuring the perfect balance of high-side and low-side pressures so the compressor runs efficiently without cycling prematurely.
